Studio space, strong community feeling, friends near by, galleries, Dave’s Corner, walk to chinatown, late night the streets were empty… you can breathe night space, trucking company next door would watch out for you and receive packages, wonder neighbors…some who became lifelong friends…the vibe of an important historical period that can never be replaced or repeated

Painting late into the night with music blasting.
The main reason for leaving was real-estate developer harassment starting 1n 1981.
Just that now my studio is near Coney Island Brooklyn.
