Where did you live/work/visit in SoHo?
Visited from lofts on Pearl st.St., Worth St. ,Franklin St.all the time to visit galleries and artists in the actual Soho Streets. I exhibited my art in Soho Galleries.

If you’re a SoHo old-timer, what do you miss most about SoHo in the early days?
The dark quiet nights and a couple small stores.The early galleries. On Prince and West Broadway and elsewhere. And more than I can write here.
What do you miss least about SoHo in the early days?
i don’t miss the bad elevators or no ac in hot summer lofts and the invasion of non artist wealth.
If you used to live in SoHo but no longer live here, why did you leave?
I lived in what the real estate market called Tribeca back in the day. I just called it lower Manhattan.
What is your most vivid SoHo memory?
Watching Thorton Willis make his early band painting on Soring Street loft in summer 1969.

I miss artists who have passed on that I visited. I hope Vered hold on at 85 Mercer.
I left NY, to live a reclusive artist life in the country.making in art is the fulfillment felt in the making art. And discovering your influences you didn’t think of at times but discover in your work in the present.
