Where did you live in SoHo?
I lived and worked at 16 Crosby street all this time
What was your occupation when you lived in SoHo?
Artist - I was also a Professor of Painting at Tyler School of Art, Temple University
What do you miss most about SoHo in the 1970s?
Walking out my door and running into artist friends.
What do you miss least about SoHo in the 1970s?
I don’t miss the lack of city services. I don’t miss having to carry household trash up to the village and generally hiding from the FDNY
What is your most vivid SoHo memory?
Performances and exhibitions at 112 Greene
Is there anything else you would like to add to your profile?
I am concerned with the city’s current plan to upzone SoHo/NoHo/ and Chinatown
