118 Prince street
i was a kid living with my Dad who was a painter. His name was Warren Tanner. He was one of the founders of the OIA an arts organization.
Everything. It was the real New York. I remember a store called Barone, that was a fabulous make up store. I loved "Let their be Neon" that was great. the lights in some of the steps and the sidewalks. I miss Food, the restaurant. I miss the street cats. I miss the smell of the bakery on Prince Street.
We lived next door to Giorgio DeLuca’s original cheese shop, and were friends with him. I remember when Etan Patz disappeared.
I left because my Father passed away. I didn’t want to leave ever. I still own the building where I used to live.
I would love to speak with you or help with this project. Please give me a call or email me. My name was Laura Tanner when i lived in Soho. My phone number is xxx-xxx-xxxx
