What do you miss most about SoHo in the 1970s?
Art everywhere. Everyone talking about art, looking at art, thinking about art.
What do you miss least about SoHo in the 1970s?
Few basic services, having to walk to Houston and 6th for the dry cleaner, no drug store! And, people coming into the gallery asking for a rest room.
If you no longer live in SoHo, why did you leave?
In 1986 I temporarily left to raise my kids in Connecticut, but never gave up my loft, and now enjoying it as an empty-nester.
What is your most vivid SoHo memory?
Saturday afternoons at the gallery-- everyone was there!
