1963-1985

Where did you live in SoHo?

Born and grew up at 205 prince right next door to kazats liqueur store and moved to 119 spring street in 1970

What was your occupation when you lived in SoHo?

Kid, eventually student and finally worked in the film industry

What do you miss most about SoHo in the 1970s?

All the galleries and how remote it was from the rest of manhattan. The ransom street art "Rene is the best artist!"

What do you miss least about SoHo in the 1970s?

The tourists

If you no longer live in SoHo, why did you leave?

In queens, My parents still live there. I Moved out

What is your most vivid SoHo memory?

walking my dog at 6:00 am and watching everyone stream into the neighborhood going to works from the R and the 6 trains, all going in one direction while I walked in the other with the rising sun streaming down the street making the old building seem new and glistening. Judo class at Oisihi judo on west broadway after it moved from Sullivan St. Some of the big street happenings that shut down prince and west broadway. Egg salad sandwichs at Food The eagle dinner at broadway I have way to many
