What is your most vivid SoHo memory?
The reason I am sharing this is because Bob Bolles was recently mentioned in The NY Times. My wife and I were frequent bar patrons of Raouls. On my wife’s birthday (we were not married at the time) Bob gave her a gift of a rose from a 1/4 inch steel piece of metal. We display it in a beautiful vase in an old phone holder in a wall, nobody knows the inherent beauty and heartfelt gesture from a great part of SoHo’s past, but We cherish it to this day. A big shoutout to the community from the early 80’s!
